I'm not always a fan of "weird sugars" (beet sugar, yuck!) but this maple sugar is excellent. Deep Mountain Maple sells maple sugar in shakers for $7 and one-pound bags for $15. It's quite lovely-- granulated sugar that has a nice maple taste without being overpoweringly maple-y. Similar to commercial cane sugar in sweetness, it could probably be substituted in recipes one for one for commercial sugar. Good stuff.
